VIC Domestic hot water storage tanks Series BL

General: The accumulator-water heaters, as reservoir accumulator systems of the BL series, are produced in 18 models with an accumulator volume of 1,000 to 20,000 liters, for operating pressures 6, 10 and 16 bar in connection with plate heat exchangers. All layer accumulators are calculated in accordance with the Pressure Vessel Ordinance (wall / floor thicknesses), taking as a basis a calculation temperature of 120°C. The containers are produced in St. 37.2 (S235JRG2), HII (P265GH) black, in stainless steel 1.4301 and 1.4571.

Plate heat exchanger: Heat exchangers in bolted implementation are employed as plate heat exchangers. As a result of the bolted implementation, a respective adjustment to changed service conditions is possible.
Basically, plates in stainless steel AISI 316 are employed as a plate material, with seals in EPDM.
In addition, easy cleaning is assured with opening the heat exchanger.

Corrosion protection: As corrosion protection, the water heaters are provided with an epoxy inside coating.
The coating is applied subsequently on the sandblasted surface in several single layers. The coating is suitable for operating temperatures up to 95°C, and 120°C in the short term (steam-jet disinfection).

Insulation: The insulation is implemented in the works and is applied directly onto the water heaters. A PU soft foam insulation 21 kg/m³ is supplied as insulation, with additional weatherproof jacketing.

Or insulated with mineral wool lining and cased with a sheet-metal jacket for the protection of the insulation.

Installation: All water heaters of the BL series are supplied in vertical design.

The manufacture of our water heaters (also in special dimensions, as well as our standard sizes) is basically not implemented until an authorized construction drawing has been provided by the orderer.
